DEPARTMENTS

Communications

The Communications department consists of various tasks that interns rotate through in order to further explore, learn, and build writing, public speaking, communication, and collaboration skills. These tasks include writing blog posts, hosting podcasts with interesting engaging topics, such as unpoular opinions, navigating today's world, and comspiracy theories! This department acts as a medium between the inner workings of the company and Brainwave’s audience nationwide.

Social Media & Design

The Social Media & Design Department encompasses elements of social media & graphic design. This department consists of various tasks that interns rotate through, such as Mental Health Social Research + Posting, creating Graphic Design posts, creating TikTok & Reels posts, completing multiple tasks relating to design and video editing!

Independent Research

Eknoor Dhaliwal & Nivedita Ravi

The Independent Research Department is an optional department that allows interns to conduct research on a topic in mental health and psychology as a whole! Interns have the opportunity to conduct research. including designing an experiment, writing a research paper, and recording presentations that are shared with the community! 

Educational Research in Mental Health

​The Educational Research In Mental Health Department allows strong researchers and writers to explore the field of mental health. Interns write research articles ranging a multitude of topic, gathering information to form their own views on a topic. and they get the chance to learn from each other through communication and collaboration. This department has been voted the #1 department for the past 4 months!

Onsight Learning and Exploration

The Explore & Outreach Department consists of various programs for interns to dive deep into various mental health topics. Interns have the opportunity to research independently on important topics through creating educational workshops on a topic surrounding their interests! Their findings will then be presented to the Brainwave community to better enhance understanding of mental health throughout the organization as a whole.
